I feel like I’m floundering in my own little corner of the blog world.
I haven’t been very interested in posting lately. I am hitting “Mark as Read” in my Google Reader more often than I want. I have officially become a lurker.
I don’t have much to say on Twitter. Facebook seems a little crazy right now. I can only keep up with so many different social networking sites.
The computer is slowly getting pushed out of my schedule.
I don’t want to quit the blog. I really, really don’t. But I feel like I’m not contributing a lot lately and that makes me feel like a hypocrite…like each post is just a big Fakey McFakester attempt to put something out there so I don’t fade away into oblivion.
Blogging seems like a job lately. It’s just one more thing on my ever present To-Do List. And I know that’s not how it’s supposed to be.
I need to ask myself why I blog. Who am I doing it for?
The honeymoon is over, but how do I make it fun again??

whenever that happens to me, i go on a little bloggy hiatus and take a bloggy break. turns out i end up missing it and coming back! bloggy lulls happen. i am sure if you take a little break everyone will miss you and you’ll be dying to come back!!
Join the club. I think that’s the way it goes after a couple of years. It did for me. I jumped back in a couple of times to try and be the blogger I used to be, but it didn’t work. If you find out how to make it work again, tell me!
I know how you feel. Sometimes I can barely post once a week and other times I want to do so much more, but there’s no time. Thank goodness for Google Reader, then our readers can catch up with us whenever we have something to say without having to check everyday.
I’m right there with you sister. My personal blog is just lame lately.
Give it time, you’ll get your groove back.
I feel that way sometimes too. Very recently, in fact. I try to just blog when I feel I have something worth sharing – that helps take the pressure off. And I’ve hit the ‘mark as read’ on my feed reader more often lately too – I don’t know what it is, but somehow I just don’t get around to as many blogs as I used to. Take some time off if you need to – we’ll all be here when you’re ready to post.
