I am so far behind in housework it’s not even funny. The floors are disgusting (you know it’s really bad when you “crunch” with one step and stick with the next). The laundry is sitting in the dryer from yesterday. Bathtubs and showers are starting to talk back. Jacob is using the dust to practice his writing. And I am trying to replace the doorknobs upstairs…I’ve taken them out but have yet to put all the new ones in.
When I got up this morning, I put all the things that needed to be done on little pieces of paper and the plan is for Jake and Emma to help me get as much stuff done as I can. I’ll give them a choice of 2 or 3 chores and ask them to choose 1. Once that chore is done, we’ll play. Then we’ll start the whole process over again.
This is everything on my To-Do List (with an extra 5 for your reading pleasure) and I’ll be updating all day to show what actually got done so be sure to check back.
Because nothing is more exciting than my To-Do List, right?

HA! I have limited myself to the kitchen and laundry.
Very nice list, I like it. BOUNCE on over to my 13.
After doing all the stuff on this list I don’t think you will need to exercise. You’ll have already done that. Try to have a great day.
Uh….why #18? Isn’t 1-17 enough to count as exercise?
I agree who will need exercise after that? You do burn plenty of calories doing housework. I will be like that Monday as I get ready to be laid up for a few weeks after surgery.
Happy TT!

Hate to say it, but I’d procrastinate about those chores, too. Nothing fun about them to me!
I’m exhausted just reading your list! Yeah, you’ve got 18 covered after you cross everything off your list from 1-17!!LOL!! And I enjoyed reading, why we had kids!
I need to desperately do 15,16,and 17!! I’ll be gone all day Saturday, so I need to have a crockpot meal ready to go when we get home.
good job lady, you’ve done far more than I’ve accomplished today!
That sounds about like my to-do list. I think I’ll need to enlist my own ‘helpers’ as well.
Ah, yes… all work and no PAY makes a housewife!!!!
I love your list. I love the cross-outs even more!!!!
And #19 should be: PLAY
Sharon – Pinks & Blues
My floors are yucky too. I know about the crunch and stick!
You got a lot accomplished today though. Must feel good to have all of that done.
Dude, you’ve been busy! Good job!
Let me just tell about cleaning my house….BgK’s belt has been missing for close to a week. I found it today draped over the vacuum. No wonder we didn’t find it sooner
