Talk About Tuesday
I’ve got an exciting next couple of days coming up!
My mom and dad are taking both the kids to their house for tomorrow, Thursday and through mid-afternoon Friday. And Dave is not taking off work, which means that during the day, I’ll be all by my lonsesome. I’m not sure how I’ll survive.
Oh wait, I know…have lunch with friends! On Thursday, I am having lunch at Bob Evans (Cinnamon Pancakes, people) with my friend Christine and her sister, Sue. Sue will be my first blog friend that I am going to meet In Real Life. How cool is that??
And did I mention the kid-free shopping? ‘Cause there’ll be some of that, too. I’ll probably get some new clothes and a bathing suit for The Cruise. And the bookstore…aaaahhhh, the bookstore by myself.
Then, when Dave comes home from work tomorrow and Thursday, we are going out BOTH NIGHTS for dinner and maybe a movie. On BOTH NIGHTS!
On Friday, my folks are bringing the kids home just in time for their naps and then Dave’s mom and dad are driving in from Illinois to celebrate an early birthday party for the kids. Which means cake and ice cream on Saturday.
I can feel my arteries clogging and my mood improving as we speak…

I hope you have a great time! Oh wait, I already know that you will
Hey! I’ll be up at Whole Foods tomorrow for my kids’ cooking class. Maybe we should meet up there. Then *I* can be the first blog friend you meet in real life.
hee hee!
ENJOY your time off!!!!
I love that banner photo–really cute!
I’m jealous about your lunch date–I want to come!
I’m so excited for you!!! It’s so nice to have a day off once in a while.
How glorious! A complete day off! It is good that you actually have a plan so that you don’t walk around wondering how you are going to spend your time.
I think that it is vital to actually have time alone away from our children. Sometimes we can forget that we actually like them when we are with them so much!
Have a great time! It is nice to get some time away once in a while, isn’t it?!
Ooh, I’m jealous - that sounds like a blast!
