Spring Reading Thing

spring reading thing 08

Today is the first day of The Spring Reading Thing being hosted by Katrina at Callapidder Days. I feel like my reading time is dwindling, so I’m not sure how many of these books I’ll actually get through, but I hope I can finish (or at least start) all of them.

I’ve already started 90 Minutes in Heaven, and the 3 Harry Potters are all re-reads, so I think I’ll be able to do this…as long as I stop wasting time on the computer and turn off the TV…

  1. Atonement – Ian McEwan
  2. Keeping Faith – Jodi Picoult
  3. My Sister’s Keeper – Jodi Picoult

  9. Re: your fiction. We are on the same page. I don’t have them on my list, but I loved Kite Runner. I just got One Thousand Splendid Suns, and Jodi Picoult is one of my faves. I also really, really enjoyed and recommend Like Water For Elephants. And, the kids, hubby and I have all enjoyed the Harry series. And movies. I certainly don’t do as much nonfiction, but your list sounds tempting.

    Happy Easter.

  10. Water for Elephants was one of my favorite books read last year! Enjoy.

  11. My SIster’s Keeper is very intense and will reel you in quickly, with a twist at the end. I hope you like it. :) Thanks for posting your list–I can’t wait to hear about some of your books!

  16. [...] Go to the library and actually have time to BROWSE for books. Too bad that all the books I was browsing for were already checked out, so I reserved 7 of the books on my SRT2008 book list. [...]

  17. 90 Minutes in Heaven is the only book other than the bible that I’ve seen my DH read in the 14 years we’ve been married. It was really inspiring!

My Sister’s Keeper is something I read in college & it was very intense. I think it affected me enough to do a report on it in English Comp.

You should have alot of good reading this season!
