Snowed in

I would say that we are at about 12-15 inches total for the past 2 days.

The show is canceled for tonight, again. Assuming we have the show tomorrow, I think it’ll be interesting what happens with seating, considering we could potentially have 3 nights of audience packed into 1 performance.

It took Dave and I the better part of 2.5 hours today to shovel what had fallen over night off the driveway. The kids had a blast while they were out there with us although I had to keep warning them about getting too close to the street. In their defense, you can’t see the street so they didn’t know how close they really were. They kept picking up snow and throwing it at each other and yelling “Newspaper!”. I have no idea why. Jake finally ventured off the driveway and into the deeper snow and Dave finally had to go get him because he couldn’t get out.

Dave ventured out to get Starbucks supplies and had to shovel again before he left.

Thankfully we still have power. So far.

  1. Don’t say that! Power must stay on!

We haven’t even started our driveway. I kinda hope KT doesn’t have a show tomorrow…..b/c that means we’ll have to dig out!

  2. That is a lot of snow. Great photos! I am so ready for ours to melt.

  3. Holy cow, that’s a lot of snow! I did wake to about 3 inches yesterday morning…just enough to go out and play in for a little bit before it started melting. Hope the show goes well, when you finally get to perform it!!

  4. That looks beautiful. I do love a good snow storm. One a year anyway - when I don’t have to go anywhere… :) I know your performance is on today - break a leg!
